AuraBet ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the AuraBet mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — email address and password when you register, or authentication tokens if you sign in with Apple or Google
• Profile data — your first name and preferences you set during onboarding (goal, experience level, what you're looking for)
• Usage data — chip balance, streak count, spin history, saved lines, and lounge tool usage statistics
• Content you submit — messages you paste into Before You Send, profile text you submit to the Profile Optimizer, and conversation context you provide in Situation Mode
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version for debugging purposes

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize the AuraBet experience
• To generate AI-powered pickup lines and coaching feedback tailored to your context
• To maintain your chip balance, streak, and saved lines across devices
• To send push notifications about your daily streak (if you opt in)
• To improve the app and fix bugs
• To process purchases and manage subscriptions

3. AI Processing

AuraBet uses OpenAI's API to generate pickup lines, message feedback, and profile suggestions. Content you submit (messages, profile text, conversation context) is sent to OpenAI for processing. We do not store this content beyond what is necessary to generate a response. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to this processing — see openai.com/privacy.

4. Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore). Firebase is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. See Firebase's privacy policy for details.

5. Virtual Currency

AuraBet uses virtual chips for gameplay. These chips have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money or goods. AuraBet is not a gambling app. All chip transactions are for entertainment purposes only.

6. Purchases & Subscriptions

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not store your payment information. Subscription management and cancellation is handled through your Apple ID account settings.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• OpenAI — for AI content generation (see Section 3)
• Google Firebase — for data storage and authentication
• Apple — for Sign in with Apple authentication and App Store purchases
• Google — for Sign in with Google authentication

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile section of the app, which will permanently delete all associated data.

9. Children's Privacy

AuraBet is intended for users 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at hello@aurabetapp.com and we will delete the account.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account directly in the app under Profile → Delete Account. For other requests, contact us at hello@aurabetapp.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of AuraBet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
